Looking to get away from the old school look of this intake. What do you guys think would look better on it...

The two options for milling would be just the edelbrock or the edelbrock and the lines. Would be replaced with nothing or a aluminum plate with Syclone engraved in it. Please give you opinion. The edelbrock is roughly 9.25"x2" so adding LSx turbo on the bottom might be pushing it on room.

mill the edelbrock off and put syclone it, then it would look like it was made that way, could also mill lsx into the sides of the intake as well.

I voted but on second though I think you should mill the top then put TYPHOON on it.

All the typhoons say syclone so why not make a syclone say typhoon?

Crazy detail-elaborate idea.

Mill Edelbrock off.
Shot-peen the area to get the "texture" back.

Have a raised-letter "syclone" cnc'd out of aluminum.
(and the matching pattern flat-surfaced into the manifold) Glue the raised letters to it.

Would look like it was cast in there.

convert "Edelbrock" to say "Eviltwin", some of the letters are already in the right spot even.

This is an awesome idea.

Of the options you had though, I would say take it all off, and replace it with Syclone LSx

While this is a great idea I'm trying to stick with something simple. I can mill down the intake and weld on a machine plate pretty easy.

People would be so confused by that lol

Re: Opinion on milling intake please

If you are material safe (thick enough on the top), I would pocket out the top, drill and tap it and have multiple plates made so that I could have whatever I wanted up there... Access to CAD/CAM and vertical mills for a living gives you crazy ideas :p.

Re: Opinion on milling intake please

How about if you mill off the Edelbrock and the lines and put,

Syclone
then 6.0 Turbo under it?

5.3, 6.0 or whatever size the motor is. You get my drift, make the writing look just like the stock Sy/Ty upper.
