Ok so what's a good FOURTH gauge?

I ended up buying a three gauge pillar so now I need one more gauge!

I have a Trans Temp gauge (thanks guys for the input)
PLX AF gauge
***empty***
and then a separate Boost gauge, so what to put in the empty slot?

My PLX AF gauge is my wideband gauge. I was thinking about a Knock Sensor gauge like the Buicks use. Can't those be used on our trucks?

Good choice. I'm wondering how accurate our oil pressure gauges are in the dash though? Mine does seem to be on the fritz, it's spiking, like there is an electrical prb in my dash cluster

Wait until it spins like a clock! What about a intake air temp sensor?

That's a good gauge to have. I just don't like having two of the same, even though I already have two boost gauges, it was already in the truck.

Water temp.
Stock gauges suck!! Most sytys (that I know of) only read up to 1/4, when I got my Ty running the same week i drove it to RPM, the temp gauge read 1/4 (still does), as soon as i got there Mike hooked up a scantool.......with ac on temp was actually around 210+, ac off was around 180+.
I think temp is a big thing specially on trucks that get driven a lot.
Get a scanmaster = water temp, intake temp, knock, boost gauge and a bunch of other features:2cents:

If you are still running a water to air intercooler, I say water temperature in your IC. Just like transmission temperature, you will be amazed how much the temperature changes when you are just driving around vs getting on it.

I have been thinking of doing a 2 gauge pod (trans temp being a must) and contemplating the other, I like this idea alot

i should have been more specific..another 2 gauge pod in addition to pillar 3 gauge (boost, WB, and FP).

Another cool idea is muti-gauges, like i have seen one that is boost and FP, or boost and trans temp...

My bad. I read it, but I guess I didn't compute it.

Oil pressure.

I am definitely liking the idea of keeping an eye on the water temp in the IC. Oil pressure gauge would be another good option.

Ron, you might could rig something where you do a couple more gauges where that top dash speaker is. I have seen a mold, which is what I wanted, and a couple of decent pods made for cheap.

I like the guage to read water temp in the IC, what specific guage would that be? How would you hook that up?

I have Intercooler Temp with a sensor in a PVC T-fitting, Boost, Trans Temp, and PLX WB

You can see the T-fitting in the Intercooler hose.

its already the plan, have the speaker cover, just need to put it into motion. may just end up putting it in the far left vent

sean, like where you have your WB, just cuiosity, but where did you relocate defrost/rear wiper switches?

I have a rear window without a wiper and I used a switch panel out of a S10. I don't use the Rear defroster.

water temp is a good idea
so is exhaust temp

get a scanmaster and toss the gauges

Re: Ok so what's a good FOURTH gauge?

Scan master will be my next purchase I think. I do like that AC temp gauge though!

Curious, where would I get those parts and the gauage? Any links or part numbers would be helpful.
