Od tcc ?

i have a ty that im trying to tune, here is the problem; when in OD and cruising the tcc seems to lockup fine, apply some throttle and the TCC seems to unlock and allow revs to jump alot. Too much for me. If the truck is in "D" everything seems to work as it should.

i have searched, will check the brake switch, and wiring.

What else might cause this?

I see that you did a turbo upgrade. I am in the process of lookng at turbos, what did you need to do when you upgraded your turbo? New DP or ? Just curious!

Ya, it's got a Turbo
Re: Od tcc ?

Mine does the same. I attribute it to the stall speed of the convertor. What stall are you running?

DP, or mod the one you have.

Im not sure what stall the conv is, trans was rebuilt before i bought it and all i have is a receipt from a shop in NY, called them and they said they are sure it would have gotten the right conv, when it was replaced.

parts replaced on rebuild reciept are, 1 new assmbly set-LS 1 new filter, 1 new band-brake, 12 qt fluid dex III, 1 exchanged rebuilt torque conv, 1 sprag assy,

rebuild was done 11/21/06, with 107748 miles. I bought it about a year ago with a little over 108,000 it now has 108,500

the truck wasnt really in driving condition when i got it so i doubt it could have been abused too bad between rebuild and now due to brakes and front suspension and bad fuel pump. But that is NOT a fact.

My Sy has a RR built tranny with a 2800 stall, so driving this stock truck feels weird anyway.
