I was out just playing around with my tune. I was making small adjustments to the alky controls. I have it tuned to T220. For some reason it only wants to spool to 15psi. Then other times it will go to 20 but very slowly. Other times it spikes past 20 and it really screams. Spark retard is minimal. I have replaced the boost solenoid, vaccum lines, tps sensor, plugs, plug wires, and just put in a new O2 sensor. I was thinking it has something to do with ingition still. Maybe I need a new cap and rotor. Any thoughts?

The gap for these plugs was really close out of the box. Didnt really have to gap them a whole lot.

without alky you should get to 15 psi without knock easy..why you adding alky?

Right. I normally run 20 psi. But all of a sudden it will not reach 20 psi with or without alky. Some times it will and other times it will not. Its strange.

Well datamaster has nothing to say from what I can tell. My wastegate is tight and moves smoothly. Today it was having a really hard time reaching 20psi even when I have it set for 22. I got home and let the truck idle and the engine would cut out and monetarily datamaster would lose connection.
I have datamaster files but Im not sure how to post them up on the forum. I have been just emailing them.
This truck reminds me of a women. Its happy one day and then next its PMS.

where did you put your alky jet... had someone put one in once and didnt seal right where they put the jet ( it was in the intake ) not before the throttle on his car just a thought

Its on the intercooler; between the intake and the intercooler air exit. I was maybe thinking thats what it could be. A boost leak. Is this similar to what your buddy had? I got that rubber grommet real tight though.....
Now that I think about it I dont think that its. Its to consistent. It really wants to stay around 15 psi. Then other times it spools past 20. It just really intermitent. Ok that didnt make any sense. ha ha

If it is dirty enough in there & get some carbon cross firing going on,that will kill power.
But you say you are not getting any or much KR's?

No not really much for KR. The alky kills most of that. I just can't get to max boost like I used to. I think the cap and rotor is the next thing Im going to try.
OK wait. What would limit my boost to only 15 psi? I have a 3 bar so thats not it. Would the boost solenoid do that? I should check all my vaccum lines again.
Any comments?

Your boost is not limited to 15 psi even w/a 2 bar map senser.
I ran 18-19 PSI w/a 2 bar. ET 12.29 @ 108 No alky,Pittbull street chip.
Boost solinoid,vacuum lines ,a place to start.
Inlet restriction,dirty air fiter,blockage,etc.
Temporarely wire shut your wastgate flapper valve,see if it goes over 15,,,,,but be carefull!!!
That way,you know your turbo can produce the PSI,then you can look at other things. :2cents:

If you haven't done a cap and rotor lately, and you live in MN, I'll almost guarantee that it's ugly inside.

Also, most folks don't realize you can control boost with fuel. Too much fuel -> no exhaust heat -> no boost. Too little fuel -> lots of exhaust heat -> crazy boost.
