Check the vaccum line to your MAP sensor. I had the same exact problem when the line blew off my MAP sensor. Would build boost until 0 and then go flat on its face. The map sensor could also be bad. Check to see if you are seeing anything in datamaster. If you are using tunerpro, see if the ecm sees any voltage from the map sensor.

the next thing i would try
1 look at turbo inlet will turbo spin by hand freely
2 remove wastegate rod and wire it closed slowly drive see if it will build boost don't wot.
this will tell if turbo has ability to make boost.
3 put old turbo back on .if it made power before see if it still will.


i would stop and look at anything you might have touched, moved, or had disconnected.

Thanks For all the replys. Actually it dose seem like a sensor problem I'll check and see if it is a bad map sensor they do go bad every once in a while.I breifly looked at the vacuum line and it looked ok but i will have to investegate it futher. It seems like the computer is limiting it some how. I do have a manual waste gate controller. It isnt controlled buy the computer. I have driven the car. It drives ok in vacuum map but there is no boost it could be the map sensor I didnt think of that. I seem like a wire was pinched. It runs real rich at idle and then 3000 it is lean. I drove it around once and It would barley drive. The TPS the more it would choke and want to die I replaced the bin and runs in vac map. I have checked the piping, turbos spins freely, the wastegate adjusted holding and alined with the wastegate hole. New exhaust with cut out. not really sure next. It pisses ,e off I have been able to mess with it been slammed with work.

Just goes to show that it is always something stupid. I pulled the turbo and found out that one of the clamps had not been tightend to the lower A2A.I was going to clock the lower piping and then tighten it. OOPS I forgot something.Checked every clamp but that one.It is stll slow to build boost but it have seem 13 psi. I think there still is a leak but further investgaton will tell. Remember to double check your self. thanks for all of your input.
