I finally got the truck out after 3-1/2 months and I decided to go out to see if I could find someone to race. I with the windows out music playing and I take the highway to go visit my grandma. As I enter the highway I spot a red Ferrari F-355 F-1 a couple of cars behind. I'm doing 55 and I see him coming up fast. I thought that he knew what I was driving and that he wanted to play, but he just passed me without even looking. There's alot of traffic so it was really easy to catch up with him. I'm in his right lane, I match his back bumper with the front of the truck, I punch it and released the gas pedal so he could hear the TIAL and the turbo screaming. He heard and was like WTF!? and smiled at me. He was like a high 40 guy so I knew that if I wanted to race him I had to be respectful and wait till the road was clear. I change lanes and I get behind him. At this point he starts to cut thru traffic doing about 65-70 with me about 2 cars behind doing the same, not riding his ass, but not letting him go anyfurther than two car lenghts. We are on a 3 lane road which becomes a 4 lane road. We are both on the left lane, theres a car in front of him and a car on his right. I can see that he's going to punch it as soon as he passes them. I know that the 3 lane road is going to become 4 lanes in about 1/4 mile and that he is going to change to the left and punch it. At this time I'm ready to roll thinking that I may hold him till 80 or he'll just walk away from the start. The road changes to 4 lanes, he changes to left lane(the new 4th lane), the car at my right changes to his right lane and I change to my right know that the other car is not there. All of this happend almost simultaneously so as we both changed his back tire is matching my front tire. As soon as he changed lane I noticed that he lowered a gear and punched it and I did the same. We were doing about 60 and I started gaining on him FAST! I managed to pull away half a car lenght from him and know his nose is at my door and I'm still pulling away. I didn't watch how fast I was going, but I had to slow down because there was a car in front. I managed to switch lanes again, but this time he didn't want me to catch up so he just punched it about two car lenghts in front. I did the same but this time he started pulling away :x we were doing 100-110. We took the same exit and we gave props to each other
P.D. I don't know if didn't know how to drive, but I felt pretty good about my truck... only mods are Walbro, TIAL 40 wastegate, johnson pump, 160 stat and heater hose IC lines. Can't wait to install the ultimate and the AFPR which are sitting in my glove compartment :evilbat:
