Does the 4.3l motor (262 cu in) fit in anyother car? old chevy's? engine swap??? I have a new motor just laying in my living room. Any help would be great. Thanks all

I seem to remember one in an old hot rod. Vortecfiero is doing something really cool with his sy engine. As far as "bolting in" I don't think you can get an exact fit besides the s-10/s15s.

It is GM It can fit in virtually all older cars. A lot of times there are multiple holes in the frame for various motor mounts-you just have to figure out which mounts to use or build your own. The bellhousing bolt pattern is the same as a SBC as well as the accessory stuff.

Theoretically, it could also fit in a beretta with a cowl hood.
The Rear diff would be a pain in the ass, though.
