I am a newb here but have been searching on here for a few weeks. I got a 93 ty (#1434) from Chief. It is a project in its own he had it and tore it apart but had alot of new parts that I have to put on. I am very excited on getting this thing running and to learn more about these trucks. I also own a 06 tbss that I have learned just about everything about just from the tbssowners.com and meeting alot of helpful people just like this site. Sorry in advance I will prob have alot of stupid newb questions to come.

Thanks I do own a house in Joliet but moved to Mokena a few months ago and yes I am going to need alot of help. Also if you need a shop with a lift let me know I have a shop in Markham.

Welcome! Always nice to see another Chicago south-sider! Glad to see Kevin's truck went to someone willing to keep it in the community. Good luck, and hopefully she is drivable soon.

As a Mokena guy, you ever go to the "Random Car Show" on 159th and 90th in the old Hertz parking lot? Definitely a good, and diverse crowd for a sporadic Friday night show, just needs more early 90's GMC's.

I make it out every so often but a friend of the family is allways there. He has the green conv rivera. I did go to the one on harlem by steak and shake then work put me on nights. But let me know when you are going to the show I will make it out with the SS.

Steger? Why is it there? Do you some help to get it going cause I can prob help you get it trailered to the shop?

Let the wrenching begin...lol. You are going to let me drive it at least once when its together right?...lol. I'll have another one soon enough. Just need to get a house so I'm not crowding my parent's garage. I'll be there to get it running for sure!

The truck is in Steger at my brother's shop. Unfortunately my place only has a one car garage that is occupied by tools, misc. parts, a smoker, and the wife's car. I'm trying to get more parts together right now because I'm redoing the suspension. No longer a DD, now she's more of a track brat. We'll see though, I may take you up on the trailer offer. Something tells me my brother and his wife are getting a bit annoyed at their toys sitting outside with mine in THEIR garage.

Ok let me know I do have another garage if it needs to get out of the way or closer and that garage is in Evergreen Park. Its my sisters garage she don't use it for anything. But let me know when you want the fun to begin.
