That was good!! Hahahaha :rotf: It'll be ok. These trucks can be alot of fun. :tup: . But, you will have to put some time, and money in em. Lets just say, there not the most reliable. Maybe thats why the ones that are left today have very low miles on the clock :rotf: I hear they are a kick in the pants when they run good. Perhaps One day I'll find out. :roll:

i think its part of the fun, drive it to the station for gas, break it on the way home. sits till the tank of fresh gas is stale, waiting for you to save up enough to fix it "right" get it fixed, syphon gas head to gas station and start all over again. lesson learned here only buy ten dollars of gas at a time.
j/k (well sorta) they're a blast and a good way to sharpen your mechanic skills and increase the tool collection. i love mine even though i'm prepping for my first engine rebuild

Man Fullerton, I used to live there as a little kid back in 1969 or so. I think I lived on Oranthorpe.

Welcome... picked up my TY at NATS '07 Still tinkering with it but it's been good to me so far.
Don't get discouraged, there's a LOT of good help here and you'll get through it. Try to fix everything yourself for two reasons... you know it's done right and you'll increase your knowledge about these trucks. It'll pay off in the future, trust me.

Well now, Merry Christmas to you...
Jus' a couple 'o rules:
Get on a workout program, you will need the strength, having a 19 year old back is an asset to you since you'll be on it alot...
Start an escrow account for your next transmission, "Can I have an amen..."
Replace all ignition parts, good or bad, ASAP
Don't spend your cash on stupid accessory crap...Do a search for quality mods...
And for Gods sake, make sure there are no kids around when you are wrenching, they'll be tarnished for life hearing the swear words that you will be creating...
