you need a straight thru muffler, not a baffled setup like that plus you have 2, i think you need to get ahold of mike @ RPM. he has a sweet SS 3in catback setup. the baffled setup will cause to much backpressure and could clog your cat.

I was thinking the same thing, so go with the 3 in exhaust with muffler and no cat right? It bolts right up doesn't it? no modifications?

i would keep the cat(due to emissions) and get the 3in. exhaust bolts right in, see raceprovenmotors.com

Thanks, I was looking at that setup before. Isn't that same setup as ATR (but i know they are out of business)

i think ATR have had exhaust hanger problems, this one is hassle free and has a stealth type of look.

My atr looks and sounds good but the clamps work loose and I have to re-adjust them. I want to weld them on with that cutout. If they are flows, you can see the baffle welds on them.

Ive had a bunch of flowmasters on different vehilces, and Ive never seen a set that look like those. Flowmasters dont have a "pinch" at the end caps- theyre fully welded.
