truck it!
This goes along with my post in the chip/tuning section.
I just bought my first syclone, 14k orig miles, mostly stock. It just has a few mods, to which a have a few questions. I have some experience with syclones because I had a good friend with one, but I dont know that much really.
The truck has a fuel pressure gauge in it. At idle it make about 38 psi, then by 10 psi of boost (on aftermarket gauge,) its making about 46 psi of fuel pressume. I cant tell if the regulator is stock, b/c I dont know what they look like. Is this indicative of a stock fuel pressure regulator, or an aftermarket one?
The truck has a kenne bell air intake/airbox with battery relocated (race cell in the front bumper.) Due to how nice the truck is, Id prefer it be stock. However, if the KB is worth much power, Ill keep it on until I sell the truck. Is the KB intake worth any proven power? Any problems with them?
I havent been able to find the battery relo kit anywhere. Has anyone heard of putting a race cell inside the front bumper basically?
It might have an ATR DP on it, because there was a receipt with the records that shows one being purchased, but it says 3". It looks to me like a 2 3/4 inch, and it looks different than the picture I saw of a stock one online. I think I heard ATR used to make a 2 3/4 inch ones also. Did they? The truck has an internal wastegate still. Are there any obvious marks on the stock or ATR piece that I can look for?
Thanks in advance guys. I have some more questions, but Im not sure where to post them yet on here. Im still new :)

FWIW:

You'll know the FPR is stock if it doesn't have any sort of mechanism on top of it to adjust the fuel pressure (usually a hex-socket set screw with a jam nut located on top next to the vacuum line fitting. The stock FPR is also painted black (not anodized), if that helps. I haven't come across anyone replacing the stock FPR with one that isn't adjustable, so a safe bet is that it's stock if it doesn't have the aforementioned mechanism. The fuel pressure numbers you mentioned sound stock as well...

Keep the KB intake on the truck. The stock intake consists of a large plastic tube doohickey that runs from the stock airbox (located on the drivers side behind the headlight (which you don't have right now) over the radiator to the orange turbo intake hose (which you probably don't have either). Look around for photos of stock engine compartments for an idea of what it looks like, although I wouldn't waste the time and money putting it back to stock unless you're trying to have a "collector truck" investment-type scenario you're trying to obtain...

You'll know if you have an ATR 3" downpipe by just looking at it. The ATR DP is stainless steel, and will look very different than, say, your exhaust manufolds. To be totally convinced you can try the magnet trick as well. Granted that ATR uses decent-quality stainless steel, a magnet shouldn't stick to it. Not nearly as much as it would want to stick to, say, your fenders or something...

Thanks Brandon. It sounds like a stock FPR.
I am a little concerned about the collectability, as the truck has 14k miles and really is about perfect (except for some minor issues now.) It was also owned by an Indy-car driver LOL. I do not have any of the stock pieces, and I hear the KB is supposed to be worth some gains. I think ill just leave it like this and buy a stock airbox from someone when I sell it.
This downpipe looks like a 2 3/4 inch one to me, and I hear ATR made one. I dont know what the stock one looks like though. Its got a funky dull-gray finish to it. Its definately not shiny stainless though, but it doenst look like mild steel or iron either, unless its just not corroded at all yet due to the low miles and not being driven in the wet. Its got the O2 bung on top, and the turbo still has the internal wastegate. If you have a pic of a stock one to send, that would be helpful. Ill try to get a pic of this one to post.
