New owner checking in #2128

Just bought my 92 Ty, #2128 this Saturday in Eugene OR, Brought her home to Vancouver, WA. Not my first perfomance car... last was a 500rwhp '06 GTO. This is a little bit of a step down... for now. At least launching it will be easier.

So far I've done cap and rotor, and new cheapo Monroe shocks... (I needed shocks and Bilsteins were a couple of weeks out).

Plugs and wires are next.... as well as de-tinting.

Overall, glad to see a dedicated community such as this one.

Welcome aboard! I like the color combo, but the wife thinks red/grey look too "normal". Keep us posted on progress, looks like the previous owner put some time and effort into it, too.

Yeah... sounds about right... nice guy. He had a few too many cars in his stable and this one got set free.

It's got some peeling issues with the clearcoat, so a respray will be in need.

I feel your pain. I've got a definite lack of clear coat down both sides of the roof on my truck, spreading to the hood as well. I just tell people it's too fast, it's blowing the paint off.:rotf:

Thanks! The red is growing on me. Wanted black, but in this market, you get what you get.

Howdy Neighbor! Well sequece # neighbor that is. I just bought Ty# 2192 early in July. The earlier statement about the Red/Grey being the envy of most of us is I am sure pretty true.
