Ive introduced myself before when i bought my first Typhoon a little more than a year ago now
This time i recently bought my second Typhoon, truck number 0073 a 1993 beauty with 70,000miles on her.
There is a few thing I'm gonna do to her but I'm gonna keep her pretty much as stock as possible and just bring her back to her back to life with her full shine and glory! And since my last Typhoon-build adventure got out of all kind of control and sense i feel pretty good about this one :roof:
A few things I'm working on right now:
#Racetronix Hotwire
#Manual boostcontroller
#Velosyty chip
#3bar map sensor
#60lbs/hrs injectors
#custom made exhaust system with high-flow cat
#new distributör cap and rotor
#sparkplugs
#sparkwires
#set timing
#regular tune-up including changing all fluids and so on
and later on i will upgrade her with:
External wastegate
Re-route intercooler hoses and replace the metal.
Clean-up the engine compartment
Some necessary gauges
I have hooked up my old scan-master 3 to her since i didn't need it anymore in my other Typhoon. A few things i did install in the first one just to mention some.
-a Link g4+ Xtreme standalone ECU
-Garret GTX3076R
-Walbro 455 intank pump
-1300cc Bosch racing injectors
-custom exhaust with 3'' downpipe and 3'' back
-Billet APFR
-Tial Q10 BOV
-60mm Tial external Wastegate
-Home-made trigger to the Ecu using the original distributor
-6 ignition coils
-rebuilt the stock water>air intercooler, new hoses and new IC-pump Bosch 1300L/hrs
and so on.
Got her going 10,89 on 402meters (1/4 quarter)
and tuned and limited her to give a output of 580 Hp and 640nm to the wheels.
This time tho, As i mentioned earlier I'm gonna keep it simple and just try to upgrade her on the most necessary and crucial parts and make her as factory new as possible, i want to make her shine again! I will upload some pictures later tonight (mid-day here where i am located, Sweden)
