Congratulations on getting a Syclone. Its a great place to be to learn about these trucks. A lot of good people on here with a TON of information. A few things to help you out, read the "New Member" area, use the "Search" feature as much as you can BEFORE you post and have take it all in stride. If you can keep all that in mind you will have no problems whatsoever here. Congrats on the new truck....your gunna love it. ;)

It's great to have more peeps in the mid-atlantic region..for what it's worth you might want to swing by the turbobuick nationals in a few weeks (in NC). There will be syty's as well, I know mine will be there. It's on the board just search

Also you might have issues with the test pipe. Are you saying a 3" downpipe to a cat and cat back exhaust or a 3" dp to a test-pipe-exhaust? No catalytic converter will jam you up during emissions testing.

Congrats and enjoy! Lets get rid of this crappy snow and enjoy the trucks

its only 3" from the cat-back no muffler

Re: new guy here. maryland

The no muffler issue may be a red flag as well...it's interesting to keep the cat but ditch the muffler. It's possible that it could get through an inspection/emissions like that. Maybe if you were lucky and they weren't familar with what they were looking at but it's probably pretty loud and that tends to draw attention to it. Maybe look at some muffler options..just stay away from flowmasters
