All,

There is a new (beta) version of Datamaster TT posted at http://www.ttspowersystems.com/ Go to the software downloads page and and scroll down to the bottom of the page for the Beta software.

It has a lot of minor fixes, has much faster graphing, and adds (better) USB support.

Regards,

Gary

BETA haa. I downloaded it> the graph is thiner and the boost seems ok, but I had 2400 counts of knock then 2650 then2782 wowa then I notice the map readings were way dif from the 3.3 I have a 3bar bin and i never got below 60KPA ever now it decels at 30-40KPA whats up?????
This is fucking me up i have be tring to tune my idle it is @ 108 LT counts
And i havent be having much luck. Any body know if the DM 3.3 values are right or wrong???? or is this a problem with the beta.
TIA Dan

3.3 is very old, and the pressure calibration data published by GM (and used by DM at that time) were wrong. Read the appendix in the manual, it explains this. The later DM versions use accurate values for this.

Also, the later DM versions use a 16-bit knock counter instead of the 8-bit knock so the values are much larger. The result is that the knock count is more 'sensitive', but you will notice it usually increments in ~~100 count chunks.

I have bein having problems isolating problems with my bin. Like the idle in my truck etc. I bought 3.3 a while ago and I thought something was up. My MAPS were all diff by a large amount. Much easier to tune now..
thanks for the heads up! :D
Dan
PS. I am waiting for my romulator back..

341 is current shipping version, but 3.5.0 should be shipping soon. It will be very similar to the beta. When it is complete, it will be posted for download.

341 and above all work fine with XP. If you are using USB, I suggest you use the beta software (or 3.5 when it is released).

Just installed it on my new Presario 2100, P4M 2.0GHz. Works allllsum, especially compared to my P120 that I was using...

Also, there is an option where you can change the graph line width. It did seem really skinny to me also.

One comment - the knock retard indicator doesn't work on monitoring, but does on recording. I'm sure it worked in 3.4.1 when monitoring, as that's pretty much all I ever use.

The new map reading is making tuning sorta tough, even know your new value may be right they aren't matching up with changes I'm making with promgrammer, and tuner cat RT.

Digs working some new tables and the changes didn't make any sense, then I did a few bins altering timing in very obvious spots, and they didn't match up either.

I like your software, but with the new values its hard to use.
