I have been cruising this site since 1996, I was then 16. That's when I fell in love with the SyTy's. 15 years later I finally had some extra spending cash to purchase my first one. I got a 1993 TYPHOON. (Black/Black) 101XXX k This weekend I will post some picture's after I get it cleaned up to the way I feel it should look for it's debut. I live in NJ & the main question I have is do any of you do meet up's & go on Typhoon & Syclone Run's every now & then? **I put the silver 92 stickers on temporary, that's all I had available for now.
Thanks

Welcome.

What part of jersey?
Truck number (last four of VIN)
Condition and mileage?

Stay plugged in to the Northeast forum. We have an annual Fall meet in southern NJ each year. Others meet in CT and NY sporadically through the year. We also meet in the Poconos every once in a while.

Bring your truck out to the meet (likely Nov. 20th) this year!

Monmouth NJ , I'll get the # posted this weekend, The condition is next to mint. Obviously it has been repainted though (cladding also) It has 101,XXX something on the Odometer. The stock GMC rims themselves are in Ok condition I was going to change them but I like the stock look. I threw on Toyo Proxy 4's & have been cleaning them with Mother's & Goof Off.

0's and O's are the same thing. Most states do not differentiate between the two. All you did was fool the computer into allowing it, then once a human saw it and checked it, it was declined.

well the state needs to get on the ball and update their shit, cause it still says this on their site

COMBINATIONS YOU MAY SELECT
Personalized license plate combinations now available are limited to a minimum of three letters and a maximum of seven characters
(letters, or letters and number). No punctuation marks or symbols, such as the silhouette of New Jersey, can be used. The plate can
accommodate seven characters or spaces and each character takes a full space. The same combination can be issued for more than
one vehicle if owned or leased by the same person, provided no more than six spaces are used in the combination. The additional sets
of plates will have a small dash number,-2,-3, etc., following the registration number (FRANK-2, JOAN-3, etc.). A separate
application and $50 fee is required for each additional set. Combinations having three letters and the numbers 1 through 20 are “courtesy
plates” and the senator of your election district must approve your request before it is submitted. The fee for a “courtesy plate” is $30.
CONSIDER YOUR CHOICES CAREFULLY! NO SUBSTITUTIONS OR REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED ONCE THE PLATES ARE
ORDERED FROM THE MANUFACTURER

yeah I know Morgan it's messed up. They allowed it a few years back. And jersey does have both the o and 0 i just check on my comp at work and it came back to, two different cars. Someone could have had typhoon and not turned in the plates thats why you cant get it. I think you have a run for 10yrs after your reg expires for the plates to be able to re-entered into the system at dmv.

Welcome! I just purchased one as well. Tried to "tympon" license plate but was denied (kidding).

You plan to keep it factory or do more modifications?

I actually just posted a thread over on the engine tech forum for upgrade. Definitely not stock though,Not as fast as I would like it to be. Do you have anything done?

Few things were not factory but replacing a lot of parts with factory parts. Sticking stock for now.
