Great video, I think the owner posted this awhile back but not sure.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe he's got the RED SY out in CA... Great guy, we have talked and he inspired me to make this...

Re: Nelson racing engines

What's the talk about "raw torque" not being real? Sounds good but "corrected" numbers are just that, corrected for some, usually artificial, temps and barometric pressures. Now if he can just keep the hoses on, bigger intercooler, who know what kinda drive-line maybe the tires will last a week. Whatada think?:rotf:

Wonder if the motor mounts have ever broke on one of these dyno runs?

I've seen 600 hp on a water brake dyno (big V12 stationery engine) and it's almost scary but sure was fun to watch. Some kinda neat noise.

Resist the urge to pick up the phone and refinance the house...

Does anyone have any news if the truck is on the street and scaring the neighborhood kids yet?

A friend just showed me this site yesterday and saw this vid. Awesome engine, would love to see the completed truck.

*sorry for bringing back a zombie thread, maybe the owner might chime in.?.

Re: Nelson racing engines

they're still working on putting the truck together. It was a complete re-paint, new engine, etc. Should run decent when it's all back together.
