About a week and a half ago my Sy began to make a "ticking" noise wich was coming from the bottom of the truck. After poking around with some ratchet extensions another Syclone owner (servando) and I came to the conclusion that the ticking was coming from very nearby the torque converter. After removing the protective shield from the TC servando saw that a Coley's TC was on the trans...I knew it was a 3000k stall but didnt remember it being a Conley. I will be taking the truck this Monday to a shop this up coming Monday and would like some suggestions or opinions on what you guys would recommend. I am running the stock turbo, ultimate chip, and crane rockers on this Vehicle (as far as engine mods go)....the transmission has the usual reliability upgrades such as an aftermarket trans cooler etc. After further inspection we decided to check out the trans fluid. The trans oil has very small shiny particles floating around...now there wasnt much in there, just few and far between could barely see it,however ,this was cause for concern. The transmission has just been rebuilt not too long ago(kevlar clutches), again this is cause for concern. I have driven this truck maybe at the most 20 miles since this happened-I never drove the truck after the ticking and has been parked ever since. I am thinking about going with one of the impala TC's that have been mentioned before ( 2800stall ). If not I would like to go back to stock. I am pretty sure that this subject has long been discussed before, but I would like to know if someone has used the 2800stall TC with any success.
I would greatly appreciate any advise that any one has to offer....i want to do this right the first time and use genuine GM parts for this....Thanks again!
Victor

I am also having the trans shop do a check up of all internals in my trans.
