Need help with transmission cooler lines ?

I had my Transmission cooler lines rust out, would it be ok if I just ran a aftermarket cooler with rubber lines?

Get the RPM braided trans cooler line kit. Well worth the investment. I wouldn't trust rubber lines since they run close to the exhaust manifolds and downpipe.

Inline tube sells a pre-bent set in stainless steel for under $100. Part #CTT8941

+4 on the RPM kit. It's what I'm running, and it comes with every fitting you need to add a B&M cooler in line with the stock radiator cooler.

So your saying that theres 3 lines, one from trans to remote cooler , one from remote cooler to radiator cooler , and one back to the trans ? You wouldn't have to use any of the stock trans lines?

Yes sir, that is correct. They include the 1/2" NPT to AN fittings for a B&M supercooler, the fittings for the transmission to convert to AN, and the fittings to convert the radiator to AN. All of the stock lines and fittings can go.

I have a complete set of hoses as in the rpm link. New, it didn't work for my 80-e conversion. P.M. me if your might be interested in them. All I used was the transmission cooler.
