Went to the the Local 1/8 mile track tonight and got some new bests out of the Sy. ET's were:

60': 1.754
1/8: 8.220
Mph: 82.10

I'm just interested if this good enough to squeeze the Sy into the 12's? Mods are as follow K&N on end of crossover, Walbro 340(hotwired),Afpr,JSM Tuning(17 psi, mid level timing), IC hotwired.

Thanks for your input!

Thanks Jimmy! You don't think 1.55 is a little fast? Is a 1.57 or 1.58 more apprioate?

It's real close to 12s. I have timeslips on my truck for virtually every ET from 14.4 down to 12.2, so let me check my database. Okay it looks like your right near the 13.0 mark. I've got a 13.06 @ 100.9 that was a 8.27 @ 82.65.

I've got a 8.27 @ 81.92 that was a 13.10 @ 100.0

I've got a 8.20 @ 82.92 that was a 12.98 @ 101.3 (My first 12 second run ever)

I've got a 8.20 @ 84.01 that was a 12.90 @ 103.7. That's 2 more MPH in the 1/8 than you're running so its quite a bit, I'd say your truck is generally right at the 13.0 level assuming it can continue its pull after the 1/8 mi mark.

If you're looking to get put over the edge, besides the #1 priority obviously being tuning your Datamaster so knock is low, you could try a TCC Lockup switch, that tends to give me 1-2 tenth and 1-2 MPH but it's really only good at the track (I only use it at the track since it is supposedly hard on the transmission.. although I've got over ~700 passes using it and it still locks up hard as any I've seen)

To add a few more numbers, I went 8.19@ 82 with 13.09@ 100 and 8.12@ 82 with 13.02@ 99.

Thanks Guys. Thats about what I figured low 13.0 to high 12.90's @ 100-101. Jeff Scott should have the romulator and the wide ban up and running real soon, so we should be able to tune it up a little to squeeze into the 12's.
