Need advice

Need advice as to the placement of external fuel pump. I instaled mine between SUMPED stock tank and bumper (The inlet is facing pass side, while outlet is facing drivers side). It is sitting just ABOVE the sump (3 inches), but level with the bottom of the tank.
Should i place it on the driver side frame rail ( About 3 feet from the tank)?

Thanks..

Mine is on the driver's side frame rail. It seems to be a sturdy place to mount it.

Re: Need advice

if you move it to the driverside rail, then you will have a 3ft low dip in the hose, correct? As long as you dont starve the pump by running the tank close to empty, i dont see a problem. are you using a pre-filter? have you removed the baffles in the tank? older tanks like ours that have the exposed sending units have alot of baffling around the sending unit to hold fuel there. Versus letting it run back to where the sump is. Is the sump in the center of the tank, or the rear?

i have all my stuff in the bed. Syclone > Typhoon, lol.

Thanks for response.
I have an Aeromotive prefilter, and post pump filter. The sump is in the back of the tank, it sits about 3 inchs below the tank. My new tank did not have any baffles.

Re: Need advice

If i put pump on the drivers frame rail, i would still need to run the fuel line UP over the diff before the pump.
