TYTILIDIE
METH HEAD
OK, so the other day, I went to a local pizza place to get me some lunch. There were a bunch of highschool kids there and there was a group in particular huddled around a WRX. It had gauges, stickers, aftermarket wing, the car had to run 10's
Anyway, I pull up and get out of the TY, they all start whispering to each other and I hear one of them say "No you ask..." So the guy looks right at me and asks me if my front tires come off the ground? I just kept walking and said no. So then later on that week, I get stuck at a light next to a guy on a Harley. He says "is the 10 second truck I keep hearing about that the tires come off the ground?"
So I tell him no I odnt run 10s and we raced, I smoked him, blah blah blah...Well, yesturday, Im on my home and I run into this Black Eclipse that I have been dieing to race. It seems pretty damn quick but can never get the guy at a light. So we go from about a 40 roll and though he gets off a little faster ( I was at his rear bumper), I actually pulled on him, by the time I reached 55 I had him at my rear tire. Anyway, he tells me he revved on me a few weeks ago in his 240 and I launched so hard my front tires came off the ground. I luahged and told him it jsut looks that way they really arent. He just smiled and said that I just cant tell because Im sitting in the truck. I didnt argue and just let him think so. Is it me or this the lamest thing anyones ever heard? Last I heard, it is impossible for AWD vehicle to raise the front end on a launch, or is that not correct? I know my truck never leaves the ground. When I first heard this, I had a friend launch while watched and it did not come off hte ground. Funny stuff. Some people.
