My ORP track results

I just got back from making a few passes at ORP. I set a new personal best of 12.06; my previous best was 12.2 using the ultimate chip and race gas. This time I was running pump gas / spraying alky /$59. I was running 22 psi of boost and using my work in progress $59 tune. I think I could have made it into the 11s if the track had been prepped. My 60ft times suffered.

Here are my results:

1st Pass
60ft - 1.791
1/8 - 7.731
1/8 MPH - 90.70
1/4 - 12.108
1/4 MPH - 110.27

2nd Pass
60ft - 1.742
1/8 - 7.679
1/8 MPH - 90.65
1/4 - 12.080
1/4 MPH - 110.24

3rd Pass
60ft - 1.728
1/8 - 7.676
1/8 MPH - 90.59
1/4 - 12.065
1/4 MPH - 110.44

4th Pass
60ft - 1.722
1/8 - 7.689
1/8 MPH - 90.23
1/4 - 12.094
1/4 MPH - 110.09

Overall I was very happy with the results. I will probably be looking at traction bars as my next upgrade to hopefully put me in the 11s.

Very impressive. Looks like the truck was consistent mph wise. You certainly are knocking on the door of 11s.

Yep a good 60ft puts you into 11's for sure. I'd say a high 11.80's with just a good 60ft.

Glad to see code59 is working out for you also. This might be a good thread to post how tuning is going for you, how well the tools are working or not working, autotune, tunerpro, ostrich, etc and where you want to do more tuning at and how far along you feel the tune is.

Code59 is working out great for me and Autotune allows me to easily pinpoint where my AFRs need attention. I have been able to eliminate the part throttle hesitation that I had when running the ultimate. My biggest challenge besides learning to tune is just finding the time to tune. Currently I am running a modified version of the 33lb starter bin that I have scaled the fuel map to work with my 60lb motortron injectors. I am still running very rich at WOT. AFRs are in the low 10s and I haven't even touched the timing of the base bin. Any thoughts on making a Autotune for timing as will as fueling? I would have liked to lean it out some more last night but my laptop kept locking up so I wasn't able to do any tuning. I think out of the 4 passes I only got one of them successfully logged.

My goal when I bought the PTE44 was to run mid 11s. I think it may be possible with some more tuning and better 60ft times.

Sure hope there werent any curbs out at ORP. They seem to like to promote going somewhere else if you want to go fast.. ORP has always been like trying to boost launch on an ice rink.

Coolio that you still improved your best ETs tho.

Thanks guys!

Todd- There was a curb around the tree but I managed to avoid it just like last time :D

After each pass I had large chunks of rubber that had come off the track and managed to stick to my drag radials. The track was in the worst shape I have seen.

Awesome results - that's definitely one of the fastest PT44 trucks I've heard of.

I'd try leaning the AFR to about 11.8:1 and see how it runs. :D
