Haven't been around the board in the while and got some cool new parts! This one being my transfer case! I was super excited when I picked this up so I figured I would post a few pics and info!

Gear Driven
Helical cut gears
One peice 356-t6 case
synchronized shifting (shift on fly capability at light loads)
Independent front and rear control (2hi/low and neutral for front AND rear)
Bulletproof and non-twisitng shafts

Should be exciting to see how this works out!

The old one is just fine...just doubt it would hold up to any worthwhile power, especially in the long run. Its base is an Atlas type transfer case from Advance Adaptors. Rockford Racecraft had a "custom" one put together for my application. Came with all adaptors needed to bolt up with my current turbo 400 and is ready for the future 4l80e from Hartman. Pretty much ready to bolt in.

The thing sure is pretty, my jaw dropped when I first saw it. I believe they said it could hold over 800 horsepower and 800 torque. When we told them what we were using it for they said no warranty

That is very very cool. Are those normally used for some kind of off-road racing or what is the original application for that?

Yep, they are used in offroading applications.

Supposedly the latest and greatest compared to previous style Dana and NP style cases. Havent even had a chance to put it under the truck yet to see how its going to fit...pictures will be up soon hopefully! Like everything else

More than a stocker and less than um.....yeah

It actually wasn't that bad, especially if you consider if you have to replace a stock one every time it breaks.

The Atlas II T-case is usually around $2,500 for part time twin stick cases for 4x4s. It had to be more for a custom application like that.
