My first kill in Texass

I was runnning some errands today so I decided to break out the Sy. Well low and behold there came a Mustang convertible, looked like late 80's early 90's. Had the silver pony 5-star so I am guessing early 90's. Had the usual add-on's......saleen rear wing, blah blah blah, we've all seen them.

We hit the light and we are side by side. I hear him rev so I figure he has a manual so I decide I better build a little boost to make sure. Make a long story short I launched at around 9 psi and LITERALLY put bus lengths on him before I let off around 95 or so. Poor guy had no idea I was still running 110 octane and T3 on Ultimate with around 18 lbs boost from the Nats.

The guy was pretty cool though, stopped in where I was heading and talked a little, said his brother has a Ty and he knew I would kill him but not by that much. Then I told him the whole story and we both were cracking up.

Only bad thing was my glasses flew straight off my visor and smacked me square on the nose. :) Looks like I finally found where they were, I had been looking for them for weeks.

Good kill.

See people, that's how you post a good kill story!!

Now explain to me why the last 5 kill stories are Mustangs, don't you guys race any other types of cars? :)

Old Sy #70 would spit the tape out of the deck so hard that it would hit the back wall before falling.
Was gonna upgrade it, but it worked great for shock factor.

One of Trisha's friends also denied the power of the launch.
Well, one day he got a strip setting (118/Kaboom Chip/regulator line pulled) launch on some sticky pavement.
He groaned and couldn't exhale...
I stayed in it for like 4-5 seconds and when I let off, he seriously gasped a breath.

I quietly grinned...

The day I bought my Syclone I was in Reidsville headed back home from Douglas. Stop in to get some gas and a drink. Come out and see 2 older guys looking at the truck. Typical "Dat dere's wun of dem trucks...." conversation follows. Get in my truck to leave and figure I'll show off for them. Taking a left outta the parking lot and on to the road, I jump on it good. Passenger side window was down and my "just purchased" Mt. Dew flies out and into the road, busting all to hell. Feeling like a dork, I don't even look back.

Since then I've went thru 3 cell phones, dozens of drinks, one laptop, one rearview mirror, and some of my "coolness" when my visor came down and hit me in the face on a launch (girl I was "courting" was riding shotgun.....she laughed.........bitch :D ).

yeah, ole 112 got the trailer treatment coming down here.

Mustangs aren't all that we race, it's just there are so damn many of them  purely a numbers thing I figure.

While this isn't a kill story............

Right after Patrick (SY769) got his truck he brought it over to me and a friends house. We had this fairly hot chick living right next to us so I convinced Patrick to let me take her for a spin. So she is sitting there talking to me as I stop in the middle of the road (could do that, we were in the middle of no where Arkansas :) ) I tell her told hold on cause I am about to go, she is still just talking away, I launch at about 8-9 lbs and I hear this EXTREMELY load bang!!!!!

First idea through my head is......"Holy shit, I just broke my best friend's truck!!!" But quickly it occurs to me that it was just Kim's head bouncing off the rear glass!!!! But what was really great was that just as soon as she was getting over the new found lump on the back of her head, it shifted into second, and I mean HARD. You guys know what I mean, the way a stock Sy tranny is supposed to shift, gives you that feeling in your stomach just like a launch. Well poor Kim had a bump on top of a bump after that, and I couldn't stop laughing

Damn those were the days :drinking: 8)

Are you kidding me, I just got my Broadband back, gotta get my SOCOM!!!!!

If it wasn't for that damn PS2 I might have my TC in, my turbo kit on, and my vacuum hose kit on, not to mention staying in the good graces of the old lady every once in a while :(
