LAST WEEKEND THE VETTE THAT I HELPED BUILD THAT IS AWD WITH THE SYCLONE SETUP (couple pics here: www.michaelrenz.com/syvette) WON THE KING OF GERMANY RACE IN EUROPE. WE SET A NEW RECORD FOR OURSELVES OF 8.66. IT WAS A VERY CLOSE FINAL WHERE WE BASICALLY OUTPOWERED HIM. I KNOW A LOT OF GUYS ON THIS BOARD ARE INTERESTED IN HOW OUR LITTLE FRANKENSTEIN VETTE WITH THE SYCLONE AWD DOES SO I'M SHARING THESE TWO VIDEOS. I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE BUT WHEN I DO I'LL SEND THEM ALONG

X FAST SYCLONE OWNER 110IN6 (AKA LES) BECAUSE MARK SCHAFFER STOLE MY STOKE SYCLONE WHEN I WAS SLEEPING AND WON'T GIVE IT BACK....:--( AND I THOUGHT HE WAS MY FRIEND.

OH, AND BY THE WAY. THE VETTE IS A V8 JUST LIKE MY TYPHOON OVER THERE. IT'S AN 18 DEGREE HEAD BOWTIE NASCAR BLOCK WITH THE BEST STUFF I COULD STICK IN IT. WE STILL HAVE A LOT OF POWER LEFT UNTAPPED TO BRING ON, BUT WE TRY NOT TO BREAK DRIVETRAIN COMPONENTS. SO FAR, IT'S BEEN UNBELIEVEABLY GOOD ABOUT NOT BREAKING ANYTHING FOR WHAT IS BASICALLY AN 8 1/2 SECOND RIDE''

Unfortunetly Robert had problem with his SY and left home after qualifications. In Top16 of AWD class first place was for my Vette with ET 8,79 2nd for Marcin in Typhoon with ET 8.9 and 3rd was Robert with ET 9.0, so in semi finals there would be race TY vs. SY, but as I wrote Robert had problem with car, we heard that his ECU was death(now we all know from other topic that it was just a cable.) Next day during race for semifinals Marcin broked drivetrain(probably transfercase) so without two fastest opponents i won the AWD class, and then was race for 16 fastest cars of all classes for King of Germany title. I menaged to win it racing in final against supercharged chevy bel air. My ET was 8.66@170,8MPH and on finish line difference was only 0.014s! That was the best race of my life :)
Here you can find some pics: http://picasaweb.google.com/fotyvtg/KoG2010?authkey=Gv1sRgCO6lpOqp8-nX_gE#

in next two weeks should be ready full movie.
greets to all from Poland,

Congrats! .... looks like a lot of fun :D
It sure is strange seeing US muscle cars in Germany, on a dragstrip, but with the announcer speaking German and the music we've never heard on the PA system. I guess it just goes to prove that cars/hot rodding/drag racing is truly a universal language

if You mean best times of AWD class thats true. Best times of all event would be mine 8.66 and bel air's 8,74 from the final, and Marcin's 8,9 and Robert's 9,0 from qualifications
