Modded ECM's for Lo-impedance

OK...I am offering the following:

(1) GM remanufactured ECM for the Sy/Ty's, with the mods for lo-imp. injectors for PEAK AND HOLD or SATURATED mode.

** These are remanned by GM - not junkyard pulls. I have (2) more used ECM to use up, so those will be the first ones going out. I have to order these, an dit will take about 3 days to get them in. I will make the appropriate internal modifications to the drivers, resistors, and jumper. I will also enclose the appropriate 25A fuse. Price will be $175 shipped and insured.

Again, I want to reiterate. The first two units that will ship, I have are using used ECM's. These units will be available for $150 shipped. From then on, using the new (GM refurbed) ECM's, it will be $175 shipped.

You will have to remove your MEMCAL from your old ECM and put it in the ECM I send you.

What I will need from you is whether you want PEAK AND HOLD or SATURATED modes. You WILL NEED to talk to your tuner and verify which way you want to go. Talk to Nolan and he can set you straight on that end. As Nolan stated in an earlier thread, P&H is better for controlling larger (85&95#ers) than saturated mode (the way the stocker runs now). Then, tell me which way you need it! From the time I get PayPAL confirmation, it will take me 3-4 days to get it ready. As I said, I have a couple of used ECM's right now. When they are gone, that's it for the used ones. I can get a new (reman) unit for almost the same price as a junkyard unit, so I'll go that route instead.

Thanks,

alex not trying to jack yah but u really should do the injector driver mod,and if u do u can keep the stock 10 amp fuse in there since it is only a trigger.turbo 6 has tried this and it def does make a difference

this is doing the injector driver modification, and if requested, I can also modify the ECM to run Peak and Hold instead of saturated. I will still send out the fuse, and if needed, you will have it.

Just PM me with the information (saturated or Peak and Hold) and PayPAL me.

I understand others are offering the components to do the mod yourself. Some people are not comfortable doing this. I have a complete rework station here at home, so I am setup for it. I am also offering it with a new GM reman ECM - not a used one. If you suspect your ECM of beng faulty, this would be a great solution to replace it AND have the future upgradeability for injectors. Again, for the price, it is hard to beat.

Re: Modded ECM's for Lo-impedance

payment made for 1 of the first available . Does the relay mod also have to be done as mentioned in the other threads ??

**Also note** to anyone that this is a great deal if you see what it costs alone for the mod , not to mention the money saved from shipping your ecm out for modding and shipping back to you . Thanks again alex .

Re: Modded ECM's for Lo-impedance

sorry for the delay in getting them out (for those of you who have ordered). I have been out of town since last Tuesday, and I should be back home Thursday evening. It'll take me 1 night to get all 5 done and tested. They should all be out in the mail Friday.

Thanks for your patience!

x2 let me know alex, you know i'm good for the money too

If you want to do it right, I can do it for P&H injectors, and you can get with Nolan for software. Like I said, I have the parts at home, and when I get back there, I can kick them out and test them in 1 day.

will this work with phil longs chip for the 75# ?

P&H is good for the 75#, right? will it lower my gas mileage with P&H versus Saturated

nolan's software?

Re: Modded ECM's for Lo-impedance

for Phil's chip (as far as I am told...someone fill me in..) his chips are saturated mode. Nolan can tune it either way...better control with P&H. Fuel mileage depends on how heavy your foot is! Drive it nicely, should do close to stock. Drive it hard, then it will not!! By a long shot! Look at Ed Hess, he's got (6) 5/8" garden hoses (160#/HR injectors) and on the hwy, he is getting 15MPG!!!

I could just do the driver mod and he can take care of the rest in programming...

Re: Modded ECM's for Lo-impedance

I was wondering what wattage resistor you put in my ecm ? I have been researching this process and I wanted to get a grasp on whats actually done , and not just why it has to be done . Thanks .
