Re: Map sensor reading Wrong

Go into DM "set up", 'display units', and set MAP Calibration to '2-3 bar map'.... see if that does it. I assume you're running a 3-bar map and wideband.

But the truck is not running right it has a lil high idle and doesn't go right back to idle after a rev.

Regardless, one of your gauges is wrong.... you need to get to the bottom of that first. It could be a bad MAP sensor, or could be a small leak at the MAP. Do you have another MAP you could try? Check those vac lines.

If you have a mighty vac, remove the vac line from the intake that feeds the MAP. Evacuate that line down to 18hg then start the truck and see if it idles fine. If so, probably a vac leak, if not probably a bad MAP.
