I had talked ti VIS a while ago. they were going to make one for me, but then decided they didn't want to. They have a mold for a fiberglass hood in a 2" cowl and were going to use that. I dont think the hood would have been in very good condition. Mold was probably not that great. Dunno, but you can bug them

LOL , thread jack in progress.
I made a cf skin previously with the oem handle indentation . Once dry the weave distortion around the handle was a turnoff for me so i let it sit while doing some home remodeling this year . Seeing that no-handle skin yesterday motivated me to modify my mold today and remove the indent . Full cf oem repro inside/outside tailgates wont be an option for me now , but a direct bolt-on tailgate shell will be . :tup:
