Las Vegas area information

Alright, I'm finally settled in and now its time to start tracking down stuff.

Was wondering what are some good salvage yards close to or in Vegas, and performance/parts shops as well. Any help or advice would be appreciated. thanks.

Most of the wicked engine shops are down by the track. As far as parts go, there's National Performance on Charleston. I usually just order from Summit because the prices are about the same. Welcome to Vegas!

There used to be a great pick-a-part somewhere. I'm thinking off Boulder Highway out towards Henderson. Can't think of the name. Had much fun there years ago. Watch out for feral cats.

FYI Summit has a depot here in Nevada so when you order stuff from them they like to charge you shipping and tax even if it doesnt come out of there Nevada warehouse. If there is something out of Summit you want I just order it from Jegs and if Summits price is cheaper Jegs will usually match it. Just my 2 cents

I'm pretty sure National Performance is still open but it has moved. Its on W. Charleston now not E. Charleston. I think its around Jones and Decatur. I could be wrong, its not like they are much help anyway. I went in there to get a cone K&N air filter and they had none. They did have the K&N valve cover vent filter though, but I think it double for a honda air filter :^)

Yeah, it's on W. Charleston in between Jones and Decatur. It's been awhile since I've been in there, but I still pass it every here and there.
