01 L' vs. Typhoon
Got a chance to run a Typhoon a couple of days ago. All i can say is what a quick launching little truck that is. My L' is pretty much all stock but i usually never get beat off of the line. For some reason the stock setup on my truck hooks up well. But he got me by about a fender off of the line and stayed there till 2nd gear and we both had to let off. No room for another run from there but I will say he held his own very well. Props to the typhoon for that."

Only a fender? Either the L is on slicks, the ty driver doesn't know the launching technique, or the ty wasn't running right. Who is the mysterious ty driver?

Yip, that's my kill! It was a fun chance to play, and the guy with the Lightning was pretty cool. Maybe we'll have another chance to play one of these days. Who knows, he might end up being a SyTyer one day -- he told me he had looked at one for sale up in Nebraska a while back.
