I just got off the phone with Troy from Troy's Toy's. What a nice guy to deal with. Quick e-mail responces and easy to deal with. I just ordered three red's and one more Teal. He said he had a few more Teal's in stock but that was the rest of his Red's. I would highly suggest purchasing from him.

This sucks. By the time I'll be able to purchase any of the Reds and Teals, they'll be gone b/c you guys snatched up every single one you could get ur hands on lol

I got lucky and found three Teals for $3 each. My buddy found me a red. Not sure which version it is. Told him to look for a black and a white and thats enough for me. I've got all of the JL Syclones I believe. Not worried about having every version of the Typhoon. I am a bigger Syclone fan than the Typhoon.

Here is the start to my small JL Typhoon collection. I just ordered another white one to even it out. I'm going to keep two closed and one open of each color. I'm waiting for the JL to come out in a sealed black package.
I would buy a few Syclones if I could find them cheap engough anyone?

Anybody care to type up a summary of all the different typhoon models that are now available? I gather the original white/gray one, but with the new release i am confused. red/gray, teal/gray, ?black/black?, ?aspen?, and then the white lightning editions.

White/Grey-->
1. Regular
2. White Lightning (white Base & Motor)
3. Lightning Strike (Red Tires).

Red/Grey-->
1. Regular (4 versions: JL wheels + Roof Rack; JL Wheels + No Roof Rack; 5 Spoke wheels + Roof Rack; 5 Spoke Wheels + No Roof Rack)
2. White Lightning (White Base + Rims)
3. Lightning Strike (Red Tires)

Teal/Grey-->
1. Regular
2. White Lightning (White Base & Wheels)
3. Lightning Strike ( Blue Tires)

Black/Black-->
1. Regular
2. White Lightning ( White Base & Rims)

As for Aspen, as you can see in the above pics, I think that its just the flash and/or lighting that makes it look different.

It's worth noting that the black Tys have not been released for retail sale. Some guy on Ebay had 20 or so for sale. I think the story is the seller got them at a trade show. :dunno:

Had me excited there for a minute. Def. a teal. The B-pillar is clearly not green.

I finally picked up a few on ebay today. One green, 2 reds with 5 spoke rims with and w/out roof rack, and a black one. Only need the other 2 reds and I'll be set until the next release.
