nope, not too big, thats an old design tube and fins style cooler. you will be just fine. just give it a coat of flat black so it doesnt stand out behind that grille.

Cool thanks Guys. Im just trying get all the small stuff now, Since the motor is out at the machine shop im starting to take care of the little things now. And when i looked at that in the Store it looked perfect then got it on the Truck and was like OMG that might be a bit big, Next on the to buy list is the Steel Braided tranny lines and Electric Cooling fans.

Yes there really is such a thing as too cool for any engine oil or trans. fluid. As with all things in our world there is usually a happy medium. Too much or not enough are bad things, in the case of lube oil temps., if it stays below 160-170 very much it won't burn off condensation and that turns to acid in the oil (short simple explaination). All lubes have a min / max operating temp. and then the recomended or "ideal" operating range. I like my tranny's cooked med. to med. well at 170-200 deg. for about 11 seconds :tup: ! But seriously, I'm not a tranny builder but I have been told by several very good builders that for every 10 degrees above 220-230, it takes life of the trans by the hour!!! Waller, Blake or some one jump in here if I'm wrong?

Yep. LOL your Valves should be there probly by Fri, I shipped them out with Fed Ex.

I still have a shit load of stuff to get. But i have found a Distrib plug that will run the Oil pump so i can run the Coil set up with my MegaSquirt. So now i just have to get the rest of the shit
