I was just wondering how many people would be interested in a knock LED. http://www.chitownsyty.com/html/tech/led.htm is the schematic for those who care. About the hardest part of making a premade version for anyone to install is that you have to hook it to the ESC board in the MEMCAL. I think I may have come up with a decent way to do it on a stock MEMCAL, and it should be relatively easy to hook it right to the adapter board of an Ultimate if yours doesn't already have the knock LED.
Also, would the Ultimate users out there be comfortable soldering three wires to the right-angle pins on the adapter board (where you plug in your stock MEMCAL) for this?
The parts are cheap and it's a relatively simple circuit. However, I know that not all of you have the time or ability or whatever to make your own. Plus the shipping on the parts is much more than the parts themselves, if you only get the stuff for one. If I could make a relatively "Plug n Play" knock LED for under $20 or so, how many of you would be interested? It's not meant to replace your scantool, but to provide a simple way to make sure you're not knocking without hauling out your laptop.
