Intercooler Cap?

where can i get an a/w intercooler cap from? i tried going to the dealership but the have to call some vintage shop to track it down. kragen and autozone have no clue where to start.

I think it's the same as a Civic cap...

I also think they are the same as most import cars but i found one in lmc for the syclone and that thin was like 60 bucks i shit my pants. So need less to say i took the one to napa and matched it up

I'm pretty sure mine is a cap from a Subaru. :tup: Got it at Car Quest. :cool:

Basically from what i understand which is basically nothing :p, the Upper IC never reaches pressure enough to even bleed to the overflow, i have had clear lines for some time now and the only moisture I see is normal condensation. You can cap the fitting off on the Upper IC and it will be suitable.
This being said theres no need for the stock replacement cap. As mentioned, you can use many cheaper, similar looking, caps from your local parts store and they will work fine.

This is true, but remember that temp and pressure are relative, so someone with a stock truck with EGR enabled and a weak IC pump could generate enough heat/pressure to need the overflow. Most won't (shouldn't).

Another PN to the batch - Gates 31333 (13#) or 31336 (16#). And the good thing is that both of these are plain aluminum caps (not black or covered with a big dorky yellow sticker). Don't spend more than $7.99 for that thing either.

geez 99 bucks!!! I didn't see that price there. Good thing other people helped you find it for cheaper. LMC has good prices on some stuff others are just ridicuous...
