Hi all, I was installing my new IC pump and when I was conecting it it turned on for a few seconds and it never started back again :-? I did hear a burning sound, but I can't point out were it came from. Do I need a better fuse?? Did I burn the IC relay??

Any help will be appreciated!

thanx!!

The article at www.sytyarchives.com will walk you through pinpointing what works and what doesn't.

When I installed my Jabsco, I simply cut off the GM connector from the dead stocker and spliced it onto the Jabsco's wires. Plugged it in and it's been fine since.

Just out of curiousity, did you end up getting the jabsco pump or the johnson that was being talked about for group purchase? If it was the johnson pump, let me know how that works out.

I bought the johnson. I'll let you know how it goes for me as soon as I install it :)

Did you run it dry or did you have coolant in the system???
