IAC "000"... Now I know why!

First let me say that I would like to shake the hand of whoever came up with the bicycle inner tube trick!!! I might would even take him to Outback or Hooters...ha! Seriously I didn't think that it would work but it sure helped me track down my "000" IAC demons!

My biggest leak and maybe my only leak is definitely the TB shaft front and back. Now my question is what TB exactly do I need to order and where do I need to order it from? I want to get everything I need to swap them. Part numbers would help also. Gaskets?? Search doesn't help me much here. I'm just looking for the stock type replacement unless you guys have a better idea. I am very eager to get this swapped out so any help you guys can give me will put me ahead of the game.

While I'm at it, do I need to do something to the EGR, block off plate or whatever it is?

The throttle body is the same as used on the L98 in third gen F-bodies. I think the throttle cable bracket is slightly different. You can swap on the SyTy one, or bend it a bit or something...

You can disable EGR just by unplugging the vac line to it. This will make the valve inoperable. If you want to remove the whole valve, you need to get a blockoff plate to bolt to the intake in its place. If don't have a chip with EGR deleted, you'll occaisionally get a 32 error code. While the CEL is on, it will go into "limp home" mode and you'll only be able to get base boost (~8psi).

Not sure if GA has smog laws or anything, proabably not, it is GA afterall But if you do and you pull the EGR off then you will fail visual inspection, I just pluged the vac line and chipped it out.

I orderd a stock TB from my GMC dealer yesterday! I got it all for $315 and I guess that there will be no modding to install it, right??? It should be the same TB thats on there now!
