Yeah, all the good shows they put on so late a night its not even funny.

NASCAR might be a big sport, but I'd like to see more SCCA racing then NASCAR. :dunno: :aboutyouguys?:

Something tells me some big shot NASCAR freak is giving extra money for them to do this.. :dunno:

NASCAR blows. Ill occationally watch it if nothing else is on, I mean hell, I used to party with Martin Truex but Im still not gonna watch shit go round and round over and over again.

I live in the south,where everyone (NOT ME) loves Nascar.Whenever someone asks me who my favorite driver is,I say "Jeff Gordan" just to piss them off.

I'm sure NASCAR would be fun to drive in. But it's extremely boring to watch IMO. Doesn't matter to me though. My local cable monopoly ditched Speed Vision and replaced it with MTV2. :tdown:

Before there was Speed there was speedchannel. It was great and watched it for it's variety of races from bikes to classics to rally's. I hate Nascar. I never watch that channel anymore. It plain sucks. All they do is turn left. They dont even look like the cars you would buy at a dealearship. And they call it "stock car racing"? I'm going to complain. Give us the link where we can give our feedback.

I dont see why NASCAR doesnt just ahve thier own channel(I guess at this point they may own SPEEDVISION). I used to be a NASCAR fan but ever since I bought the Vette and TY, I just find it to be utterly boring. I agree that more SCCA should be going on. My personal favorite is the GTS racing (Vettes, Vipers, Porches, Ferrari, Saleens), you know, the dope cars. Ill bet any GTS car on a NASCAR track would totally rape the NASCARguys. Im definately going to respond to the link.

Oh yeah BTW, most of the NASCARfans Ive talked to say thier favorite part about it is the wrecks..hmmmm.....I would think that better racers would ahve less wrecks. Just my two cents.

I only watch it for the live coverages of the F1 racing, which is by far the best racing, then rally car......

I support and enjoy NASCAR, but then again I'm on cable. And its only on Sundays.

Whatever happened to NHRA on ESPN? That was the shit, now you have to get something like ESPN 8 (the "Ocho":lol to see the results..no live feeds:tdown:.

Sorta reminds me of the arguement about why theres nothing but F-bodies in GMHTP (so everyone claims)..

Gotta go with what pays the bills.. Nascar is the hot ticket right now, SCCA, WRC, F1, Swamp Buggy racing etc.. Doesnt pay as well. The power of the almighty greenback in motion..

If I recall NASCAR either bought The Speed Channel or is a HUGE supporter and there was some uproar when they wanted to change the name to the NASCAR Channel and drop a majority of the programming in favor of NASCAR shows. There were many petitions going around and they ended up changing the name to Speed and kept most of the programming with a large emphasis on NASCAR. So, if it seems like they own stock in the channel.. that's why.
