Hold shift and click on link.

I think it's that stupid MSD. Probly frying my cap and messing all sort's of things. How can I get the O2's up? I have a pump, fp @ 58, new Ur6IX's new wires, fresh oil. I'm itching for Alky but I need to fix this first.

is there any reason your truck shifts at 5000rpm instead of 4500?
have you tried a fuel filter?
i would definately try ignition, and fueling.
do you have a FP gauge that you can watch as boost comes up?
i know you think your o2's are low, but thats exactly what my truck reads, and it doesnt have any knock.
seems like you are running a lot of FP though. 58?
look at your plugs and see if they are black. if so, turn the FP back down,
and try and find your problem elswhere. also, i would be running cheap plugs until you can get your truck tuned. spending 9 dollars a piece on plugs that are more than likely getting fouled with too much fuel is a sure fire way to lose your mind. im not saying that is definately happening, but i dont see anything in your signature that really warrants 58lbs of FP. if you havnt done a fuel filter, do it now. it never hurts, and might be clogged.
are there any negative symptoms? doesn the idle go up and down? if so, try checking for a vacume leak, or adjusting your idle set screw more towards the closed position.

oh, and pull all of your plugs out and see if any of them look different. they should all match, same color, same amount of metalic flec same everything. if they dont........ its not good.

Ok for anyone who is watching here's the latest.

http://www.joshhill.net/Images/5.uni

I pulled the Ultimate and put it back to 2-bar.

Not sure why it shift's @ 4900 on the first 4 but on this recent one it shifted at 4500. I adjusted the TV between 3 & 4?

Fuel filter is brand new from GM maybe 2 months.

I don't have a FP gauge to watch while driving.

My o2mv were about 20mv higher with stock chip.

Idle is fine but a little rough and high. It's always been like that since I can remember.

As far as plugs the last ones I just took out few weeks ago I'll get some pics and post them.

I'm sure about a vacc because I changed all the lines to new rubber and did a leak down test when done. I didn't replace any checks or anything.

Keep the ideas coming! Thanks!

Here are my old plugs, they are not in bad shape overall. 1,3,5 are darker on one side. No flakes or sparkles on any. They were in for about 5 months or 3000 miles. They are NGK UR6 plugs. These were also run on a MSD. I'm going to pull the cap here in a minute and tak a pic of it too.

It feels like I'm talking to my self. Just going to the extreme when people say think outside the box. Anyway, I may have found what the prob is,... Maybe.

two things I noticed
1) Your boost is crazy all over the place. That could be attributed to the KR though.
2) Your IATs climb a lot faster than mine do. But then again i have an ATR IC, big pump, etc.
Have you went to rubber lines yet? beter pump?
Do you think maybe the MSD caused the Dist cap problems?
Tried TEC?

From what I can see, the plugs look good.

I bought the truck with rubbers and a shurflow pump, there is also 2 heat exchangers in front of the radiator that are also a part of the cooling system for the IC.

For the TEC yes I did it 3 months ago.

Even though the one side on 3 is more brown than the others?

I got a piston stop so I'm going to make sure my damponer hasn't slipped and put a new cap and rotor on and see how things are.

As for the cooling system I thought about putting 100% water in it any thoughts? Good thought's keep em coming!

The black areas on the plugs are just the side closest to the exhaust valve and its normal.
I run about a 50-50 mix antifreeze-water in my IC along with a bottle of water wetter.

Are the volt's at the computer Ok? arround 12.8 or so.

What about the spark advance is it normal to see it go to about 30 advanced just driving normally?

The last thing I noticed is my IA temp some where arround 194* at the end of the run. In both of these runs they were arround 140 when it began to knock.

Lastly, I have an EGR delete and it is not throwing a code, I thought it was supposed to with the stock chip.

194 is extremely high for IAT IMO. Is the pump hotwired? Most people say your volts should be arround 13.2+ at WOT. Mine are low also. Sometimes you have to drive the truck for a while on the open highway under normal operating conditions for the EGR code ot be set.

My pump had a blown fuse duh! When I get a chance I'll give it another shot at the DM with the fuse in the pump. Would a gasket somewhere possibly be bad? Intake manifold? I would like to have the top end of the motor rebuilt with a set of l-35's with new gasket's and everything.

Hows the idle? If its irratic and rough, you could have a leaky intake gasket. Also, have you had the injectors cleaned and balanced?

JoeLutz you have been such a help and I would like to say thanks again.

The idle is somewhat rough but it also is pretty high. I'm about 100% sure there are no vac leaks or anything. It has about 27.9 kpa's Vac at idle and idles at about 800 - 825 Rpm's. I took a datamaster clip of idle before and after a run. I also noticed some oil that is seeping from back of the upper manifold at the bottom that is sitting on the lower manifold. Not much but some. Could this be the gasket? Anyway, thanks again for your help.
