uhh, no. that means air is leaking into the water portion of the intercooler, and means while under engine vacuum, water from the ic is getting sucked into the motor, does your intercooler lvl go down alot? find yourself refilling it more than you should?

The CAC is a radiator just like on the front of the truck except the heat is travelling the opposite way. At the radiator, heat from the coolant is transferred to the flowing air via the fins. In the CAC, the hot air from the turbo passes through the fins and transfers heat to the IC's coolant. The air should be contacting the metal, which contacts the coolant. If it's leaking you definitely have a problem, though I'm not sure what would cause it or if it's even possible to fix it...

Pull the upper ic and check for deposits in the air path. If you do find that it is leaking you might take it to local machine shop to see if repairs can be done. If not I'm shure you can find a used ATR unit. Did you ever figure out why your truck was bogging with the alky kit? It shure seems like you have some bad luck sometimes. You take it well though. Gook luck to ya!!!!!

There are no connection points in the Intercooler system and the inner workings of the engine. I.e. Radiator & turbo system. If there is going to be a point of failure it will be in the upper IC where a hole maybe punched in the interior of the IC. This is your problem area to focus on.

i don't know why the truck is bogging but maybe this has something to do with it? I have dm files with her idleing. I am in need of someone with more experience than me to take a look at it. I will pull the ic today and have a look.
