good luck too all and god bless, basement starting to leak in one spot between block wall and slab.hope power stays on so I can have my 2 boys keep vacuuming.the Ty is safe though.(so far)

its 218 am and the eye is almost above my house now, so far not as bad as predicted, lots of rain and wind but no real damage yet. im surrounded by the chesapeake bay too. good luck nj and ny. :thumbsup:

807 am now and the winds are hitting the opposite side of the house, im on the backside of the storm now, almost done and still no damage:tup:

The worst of it here was a Tornado that spawned off of the front end of Irene. About 10:15pm last night that went buy. The rest of it was just sustained winds and a lot of rain. Flooding is bad. I cleaned out the clogged rain gutters twice. Never lost power but did loose the Cable/Internet and it is still out (using phone to post). Not too bad here all in all :tup:

yup, my basement started flooding around 7am this morning..

i'm not even going to bother to start to clean it out until much later today.. sump is working 24/7, the float is pretty much in the on position

Minor winds, lots of rain, creeks overflowing. Otherwise, nothing major around here. Proving once again that forecasters don't know jack...it's all about ratings. :tdown:

btw, I think Ford already has the "Hurricane". If GMC used it, it would be have to be "Hurrikane"

Made it thru Irene unscathed - no damage. Some smaller dead branches got knocked out of my big old oak tree - they needed to come down anyways.

My temporary garage even survived the winds - I pushed my GTO out into the backyard so it wouldn't get damaged from the garage. At least the GTO got a good bath.

I survived, lol. Rode it out at my fire house on Long Beach Island (NJ's only barrier island).

There was a mandatory evacuation here along with many of the area just inland, but the island seemed to withstand the beating better than the places everyone evacuated to! :lol:

We didnt lose power for even a second, didnt lose cable or interwebs, flooding was nothing spectacular, I even drove through some of it with the Celica. Wind was typical of a Nor'Easter, no big thing really.

thanks, Im glad too, I might take a ride down and see how the Typhoon did tomorrow.

Not sure if Renz can cast steel or iron, but he can probably get a piece CNC'd :rotf::rotf:
