how can you tell if an injectors is bad??

i would listen to every body and get rid of that hypertech chip thats the reason why mt motor iverboosted and i broke all the bolts off the caps the rings got welded to the pistons 2 pistons go welded to the block and when o got all 6 pistons out of the motor they were all craked do your self a favor get that piece off sh@t chip out off there and put it next to your computer and use it as a paper weight like i did

Do ya ever get like ya dont want to fuck with it any more?... jesus christ these fucking cars take alot out of ya... there like having a grilfriend that dosent give it up.... :roll: MR-nmztr-sy I'll bet that your right on the money.. the egr goes into the yellow mode in DM when it comes on.... but the fucker is brand new.... ill bet i welded it open on the ride up the mountain with those 225 deg intake temps thanks again guys!!! :2gunfire: Ill start there when i get motivated

yeah i just got out of that :fist: "fuck des trucks" phase. i was still really pissed even after i found out the problem and fixed it but as soon as i fired it up and really romped on the truck i was like OH YEAH!!!!!

by the way, this was just last night. the truck was out of commission for exactly one week...and a day.

My buddy lynn "coloty" Came over tonight and gave me some motivation.. after changing the plugs ..... injector...... compression check......leak down......... changing chips...... and pulling apart the intercooler and every fucking thing else.. i pulled the egr valve,it was perfect.. so i started the car on DM and pulled the vaccum hose off the egr and put my finger to it and it was sucking it had vaccum.... fuck are you kinding me i said......... It was the vaccum controller for the egr valve is stuck open and providing vacuum..... SO IT"S FIXED NOW...... thanks
Mr_mnztr_sy It was the egr system that was causing all the shaking and lack of power...........

I hate to be the one to tell you, but it sounds like you just blew up your motor.

Classic recipe for disaster
-hypertech chip
-20 psi
-wot


I'd suggest you leakdown the motor, but i'm 99% sure that you have broken several ring lands on several pistons.

Just kiddin ya Tony, :D thanks for your help...It was a good thing that you wernt right this time i was ready to pull the heads and go from there, but I said fuck it for a couple of days.... I just tear into shit...... later fellas till the next problem....
