Hooters Raffle/Parts thread

I'm thinking about having a raffle at the Hooters event just to add to the fun.

Aside from approaching retailers, I'm asking "NASTE" members (that's everyone in the northeast) if they have anything to donate to the raffle. I have a few things in my garage (including a sweeeet Typhoon desk lamp I won at Nats 11 :cool:) I'll be putting in the pot if people are interested in a raffle.

Please PM me what items you'd be willing to donate.

Money raised will be split between SyTy.net and The Semper Fi Foundation on behalf of NASTE (unless anyone objects) www.semperfifund.org

Remember, PM items you have. If you have other items you're bringing to sell or trade, feel free to post them in this thread.

I know i have a mint set of Front Factory rotors, got like 20 miles on them in perfect shape.

Splayed 4 Bolt Block needs to be machined, 30 over bore in excellent shape

If anyone want to take on the T-shirt thing for this year's meet, it's an opportunity to make a few bucks. But you have to come up with the design, handle orders, and find a printer and pay for them. It can be completely your thing...just make sure I get a couple. :cool:

Word to the wise: Do not order more than you think you'll sell. :squint:

the only hooters t shirt design i saw was the 2007 meet? is that correct? i did a search and thats all i came up with.

anyone want to come up with a design? i have a place that i can take it to next to my route at work. ill handle the orders/money/distribution too. i know i wont be able to come up with a design. however, i was thinking a big turbo in the middle of the shirt with "naste" in top and "hooters" on the bottom.

There were shirts in 2007 and 2008. The '07 shirts were very nice...good color graphics and quality black shirts. The dude who made them is no longer on the board. I put shirts together for '08 - grey with black graphic.

If anyone does shirts I would ask NOT to put "Hooters" on the shirt nor the exact date of the meet. It should instead read something like: Maple Shade, NJ 2010 and also include "NASTE" somewhere on the shirt.

Gbody: I think a red ty on a black background would be cool. But the design should also include a Syclone. (red?!) And no Hooters reference.

There is a real good Screen Printing and Embroidery T-Shirt Place in my town. If i get the chance to stop on friday or i will check them out on Monday.

I loved the hats in 2007 flex fit with Syclone / Typhoon on the front and tthen i had my name on the back or we could put SyTy.net on the back.
$ 31.00 Front and Back and then if i add side logo $ 37.00 each (Embroidered)
Black with White Silver lettering, Red with Black Lettering, Silver with Black Lettering and more options.

If i get these done it would be on a Paypal Prior for ordering and then i would give out day of show. I don't have the funds to float these til the show.

I will let everyone know.

Is this a hat?? Don't wanna speak for others, but there's no way in He77 I'm paying $30 for a hat or t-shirt. If you're gonna make something, I would keep it at around $15. :2cents: But that doesn't mean you can't take advance orders for those who can spring for the $30+

Ehh, if it's custom stuff that looks really nice I can see it. Hell, buy a licensed NFL jersey and you are paying $80 and up. I will possibly bring a tub-O-parts. Will have more pics and stuff posted when I am not busy enough to take pic's and figure out how much stuff is worth.

We plan on rolling out with the dually and two car enclosed trailer, so if anyone needs anything please let us know! We will be there early!

:eek: We might have to park that in the back (sytys in front). Or just have everyone out back. We'll see. Glad you're comin' down!

It would be really cool if they give us the front of the building like in 2007. That was an awesome meet.

Thanks guys. List updated.

No photos of the lamp. It's basically a flexible desk lamp with Typhoon etched in the plastic "hood" (part over the bulb). Not sure who made it, but I won it at the Nats raffle.

Agree on the front Ralph. Will do.

a brand new Dell flat screen montior. I need to verify if 21 inch or 22 inch. Just add it to the list. I cant see why someone wouldnt be happy if they win it?
