High Idle Any Suggestions

91 gmc syclone
hi, my 91 syclone i just put a new alky kit on and it ran fine and idled fine before the installation the alky kit seems to be working but just needs tuned. the truck now idles at 1500-2000 and does not go down this is at normal operating temps. I dont know what i might have done can anyone help or suggest anything?? thanks craig sattre :rant:

If you have an aldl cable hooked to it, It may be going into diagnostic mode.Look for IAC code or BIT data error,Take out IAC and clean it,...

Mine did this after I cleaned the throttle body out. Ended up having to replace the IAC and it fixed the problem.

vacuum leak around your jet for the injector? where did you run your jet? that's where I would start looking

We have to make sure we don't become a victom to IdiotZone....Only by OEM sensors.A buddy of mine even said we he went to GM they also gave him the wrong one (LOOK FOR THE (E) STAMPED INSIDE THE IAC) It's where the plug goes in to it.
