Help with turbo selection for new engine build

Hi Guys,

I need some help with turbo selection for a Typhoon engine build. TPIS is wrapping up the engine build and I'm now shopping for a new turbo. I can get engine details if necessary, but basically it's a mild build with nitride crank, forged pistons, Vortec heads, mild cam, original intake manifold, stock intercooler, and stock exhaust manifolds. I plan to run up to 20 psi with this engine.

I was eyeing up the RPM Stage 3 turbo at http://www.sytyperformance.com/inde...facturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26 simply because it bolts to the original manifolds.

Thoughts on this turbo?
Other recommendations?

I should also say that I have the original turbo. Can it be rebuilt and upgraded? Who offers such a service?

Ballpark discussion. A 20G is right around 450. WIth your build you can go bigger but careful on the exhaust housing and you will more than likely need to increase the stall rating on your TC.

I have a GT35R and at 20psi it's just getting going :tup:

a 20g would be a good choice, or you could contact PTE for a 52-63mm turbo as well.
