help with a syclone in chicagoland

hey does anybody want to give me a hand helping me out get my syclone running right? i live 15 min from the wisconsin border in gurnee. if you are good with this trucks and have a datamaster or diacom i could really use your help. lunch and beer/soda are on me! it sounds like a miss-fire to me. i got everything put together last night but i havent had time to check all the ignition parts yet. its got a bad idle and a studder when the idle comes down. the oil pressure is about 80 PSI on the gauge. the trucks been sitting for about 2 years, do you think i should drain the gas and put some fresh stuff in? i'm getting a timing light tonight because i cant find my. so i can check that later as well. anything else you guys can think of please let me know!

had a few minutes so i checked the fuel pressure. when i started the truck i had 41-42 psi is the right? when i turned the key to the start postion i had 50 psi and then it dropped to 45 psi. also i noticed a wire connector that was not connected to anything. its a 3 or 4 pin next to the coil, i dont see anywhere it should go.

ok i drained all the gas in the truck and put in some fresh gas. well it seemed to help! i also check my timing. do you set the timing to the mark closest to the passager side? the tab is to dirty to see the numbers. it was about a 1/4 inch off of the first point.

OK i changed the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. truck is at 80-90% running good when it is parked. i think i need to get my hand on a labtop because i cant think of what else i need to look at. its got a big ass lag just doesnt want to move. would running a open 3inch downpipe have anything to do with it. that should help it right? what about the wastegate? i havent taken it to boost yet because i dont know if i have the external wastegate hookup right. i tryed to search for it but it doesnt want to work on my computer. its my first time with a this kind of wastegate so any help would be great. thanks
