Does anyone make them?I would like to do a turbo setup on my 01' s-10. Right now I am currently running 13.29@102.05 on a 100 shot and bolt ons. I would like to put a hairdryer on it now. i just got done with turbo charging a 2.2l s-10 ( my winter beater) and I love it. Its soo much diff. then spray and its always there. It went from a 18 sec truck to a low 15 sec. truck on only 4psi of intercooled boost.

Now we are workin on a 4.3l TBI with stock Typhoon manifolds and a stock 17c. I will keep u guys update with results dyno pulls and time slips.

It would make life really nice though to hae some headers for the vortec heads..

Thanks!

their are only 2 mass market production headers avail..

ATR and KB. both have their drawbacks and both will bolt-on to any production 4.3 head.

What are the drawbacks of the two. I am new to the syty stuff. I just became really intrested in it after the 14b in the beater. Now i am contiplating on doing a set up on the 01'.

I think you will find, unless you do some internal motor work it won't live very long.

Just something the syty people have found with some "WRONG" replacement motors thrown into syty's over the years.

Why won't it last she likes the juice. Mine has stronger rods. It should be stronger then a stock syty motor. It has 9.2:1 compression right in boost territory. It should be fine on 12psi or less.

I have some 1/2 flanges that I would be willing to part with.

They were water cut from 1/2 mild steel using kb headers as a pattern. Shoot me an e-mail if your interested.

Yup I know I am good friends with Bill and Coleen. I was just exploring different options. I like to mess around over the winter and build my own custom one off setup. Thier Blazer is really cool.

very good.

Just as an FYI - you can use stock syty manifolds or the KB Headers. The ATR headers will work however you can only use a manual gear box.

So custom headers are you only option if you can't find a set of KB's

Opps - i almost forgot you can get a set of Headers from MIke Lee @ RPM and those will work fine.

last thing - look at the Canadians they are running very fast with stock exhaust manifolds
