My dad went to buy a couple of things at pepboys and bought me a bottle of water wetter supercoolant and its supossed to lower the engine temps 20 degrees. just wanted to know if its worth.
Yep, it works great - I use it in my IC system and radiator with good results. I'm also using RMI25 in both systems and that alone dropped my IA temps by ~10 degrees, no shit. You can get more info here:
It's $20 per bottle for the RMI25 but it will neutralize your entire cooling system and clean off deposits and prevent further corrosion. I ordered a bottle and just put half in the IC and the other half in my radiator along with the WaterWetter and distilled water. Good luck.
If you want to support one of our own, you can get RMI25 from Ron Gregory ( the Walbro FP and Jabsco IC pump guy in TX). Don't remember off hand what he was charging for a bottle but, that's where I bough mine from. Here's his website: http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ HTH
