I had some hard water spots on my windows from the previous owner of my truck. I tried everything I could think of and nothing would take them off. Well, I was on the LS1 board the other week and someone posted about the same problem. There were people suggesting the same stuff I've already tried, but one person suggested "Bar Keeper's Friend." I just bought some earlier tonight and gave it a shot. Well, with a little scrubbing (ok, a lot of scrubbing) all the water spots came off. I was amazed how well this stuff worked. So, if any of you have hard water spots on your truck, buy some "Bar Keeper's Friend." I highly recommend it.

you can also use Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound, like No.7 type stuff. rotating buffers work great too.

Ive been told that newspapers period are much better for washing windows. Anyone use this and have imput?

Here is the best thing to use:
Get one cup fill it half with water and
half amonia.
And yes use newspapers.

someone made a post a long while back about using steel wool.
after reading that i went and got some 0000 steel wool, and tried it out on my friends piece o' shit. first we cleaned the windows with windex then went over them lightly scrubbing with the steel wool, and bling bling! windows were crystal clear... so i tried it on my sy, and got the same results... only draw back was that it got the windows so clean that it brought all the tiny lil pits out in the windshield, so when the sun hit it you could see a bunch of tiny lil colored spots from the sun reflecting.
