GT4276 - Anyone using this?

I borrowed my buddy's to mock up in my truck, and it actually fits (I have the RPM AC bracket delete kit). I just need to get an adapter to mount it to the stock manifolds. I'll shoot some photos of it mounted when the part comes in. It is pretty damn big, and it fills the space very nicely under the hood.

It's getting a Bowtie motor with a 5000-stall converter and LOTS of revs to spool it. Anyone have any experience with this turbo on a SyTy? I've seen lots of smaller C.I. Buicks with them, so I figured it will work well.

Took a shot of it vs. stocker...

That's the good part. I found a gently used one for a grand. They retail new for about 1300, so in the grand scheme of things, they're very affordable. They're good to about 1100HP from what I've seen on other cars. They advertise over 1200, but I haven't seen quite those numbers yet.

They offer a ball bearing model, but it's about twice the price.

Another option I entertained were the Borg Warner T6 turbos. They're well under a thousand bucks, but they're HUGE.

You can usally find these big turbos on the diesel forums at a pretty reasonable price.
